Identify the Book

"So, you boys want to help me on another case?" Fenton Hardy, internationally known detective, smiled at his teenage sons.

"Dad, you said you're working on a very mysterious case right now," Frank spoke up. "Isn't there some angle of it that Joe and I could tackle?"

It's from 'The Hardy Boys' - "The Case of the Meddling Offspring"

Fact: this exact phrase can be found in every single one of the original Hardy Boys books. The same is true for the Casefiles and the phrase, "Joe sank to his knees, wincing with pain. And then everything went black."

Initially I didn't read hamilcar's comment closely enough to get that it was a joke. Funny stuff, hamilcar, funny stuff.
